I created this small angel to represents balance, the perfect harmony that comes from the union of dualities. Temperance suggests that compromise and cooperation are vital. The positivity of all opportunities to bring opposing parties together. In fact, to temper can mean to modify by adding a new component. By combining and recombining, we come up with the ideal mixture or solution. Temperance is the alchemy of non-attachment and equilibrium, creating synthesis and finding the balance of earth and sky. Temperance is the angel of quiet composure and calm. The zen of ‘middle ground’. I created this angel to remind me that the extreme zones are not to be lived in, but to be visited, the middle ground is where we rest and revitalize our bodies and soul.
