SHIPPING / PACKAGING / HANDLING COST
Shipping and packaging costs from Gesso Cocteau Studios is determined by the purchase price of the piece purchased. Each piece is carefully packaged in a custom built shipping container that will fully support and protect the heavy weight and structure of each unique piece of art. Great care has been put into the preparation of each individual shipping container and we assure your satisfaction of the condition of the piece upon delivery.
Presently, our shipping cost structure is as follows.
$750.00 - Includes Purchase Price up to $12,000.00
$1,500.00 - Includes Purchase Price of $12,001.00+
*Some of my larger pieces require extraordinary care and Light Truck Load (LTL) freight shipping, which may incur an extra cost of lift-gate services and residential surcharges. We will work together on the price of these pieces to ensure the best shipping method and level of care is offered.
Our highly trained staff takes great care of each individual piece of art. We assure that the art that you purchase will arrive in great condition and ready to be displayed in your personal installment.
If you require custom installment, we are happy to discuss these terms with you prior to your purchase. Please email us at email@example.com
Depending on the weight, size and other aspects of the piece, the package will vary.
Smaller pieces (example: Table Top Sculpture) will be packaged in a corrugated box with custom cut foam or similar type of padded inserts to ensure safe transit and protect your sculpture to perfection.
Larger pieces (example: Mid-Size and Life-Size Sculpture) may ship in a custom built wood crate with secure tie-downs inside of the crate to ensure safe transit. These pieces may require a fright truck (LTL) delivery with lift-gate service and/or residential delivery surcharge.
Each shipment will be insured for full replacement*. This service is included in the shipping cost displayed above.
*Because my artworks are considered one-of-a-kind, each shipment is only covered for the replacement of a similar art piece. If the artwork is damaged in transit, you will not receive the originally shipped Edition #. Paperwork and Certificate of Authentication must be changed and updated to reflect the newly issued artwork. If the piece that is damaged is the last piece in the edition, there is no way to replace that damaged artwork.
