From a page in my journal when I was creating the sculpture “True Love” …
He is my angel, my breath and my life. He never wavers, he always speaks the truth, and he loves me through my most tempestuous days. His love is patient and kind, but also passionate and full of primal lust. He is my desire, my most trusted friend and the only person who sees beneath my flesh. He is my most brilliant light. And sometimes he is the darkest shadow. Together we are a pure paradox of emotions and ideas. Many thanks to Trudie Berg for naming the piece.
